Today was a bonus charity game where the 1999 European Champions league relived 20 years on from that epic night at the Nou Camp for Manchester United. So many star players turned out for Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
The likes of David Beckham, Lothar Matthias, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Stefan Effenburg were all present as well as Sir Alex Ferguson himself managing Manchester United. 1999 was a momentous occasion for Manchester United as they scored two late goals to secure the treble against the might of Bayern Munich.
Great day, great event, great players and great to be a part of the match officials of Tim Robinson, Dan Cook, Mark Scholes and Jez Simpson who had the honour of managing this game. Brilliant way to end the season.
